TLC provides developmental assessments for individuals of all ages. These assessments provide useful information that can then be used to develop tailored treatment programs, if necessary.

We use standardised tests and procedures to conduct developmental assessments for evaluation of several areas, including intelligence, sensory and motor skills, areas of functioning that impact social relationships and behaviours in the home, school and community.

Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, Revised (M-CHAT-R)

A tool for screening children aged between 16 and 30 months to assesses risk for autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Sensory Profile 2

A standardised tool to help evaluate a child’s sensory processing patterns in the context of everyday life, determining how sensory processing may be contributing to or interfering with the child’s participation in activities for individuals from birth – 15 years. An executive functioning assessment for individuals from 6 – 17 years

Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition (BOT-2)

Assesses the gross and fine motor proficiency of 4-21 year olds, ranging from those who are typically developing to those with moderate motor-skill deficits.
